Linda Hahn’s specialty is taking a complex looking project and breaking it down into easy steps. In her New York Beauty Simplified class, you’ll make blocks using just ONE PIN (no stress and no cussing)! Students can choose the layout. Linda will cover a really easy way to quickly paper piece the arcs (“crown”) for the New York Beauty. Work with a controlled colorway (all blocks the same) or make a scrappy quilt. Transform yourself into an empowered New York Beauty creating monster!
You don’t have to sew on the lines, there are no raw edges, and by using just one pin, your block will come out perfect. No more agonizing over setting in curves! Linda discusses how merely changing the setting and/or fabrics will change the “flavor” of your quilt. She’ll also cover numerous ways to quilt your top!
Her New York Beauty books are out of print. Linda’s the only person who has them. You can buy the book from her website, which is less expensive than Amazon, even with shipping charges. All pre-orders will receive an autographed copy.
Class bonus! Linda will show you how to make a miniature quilt from your cutaways, so you’re getting a two-for!
