Don’t Miss Our Fabric Sale – Saturday, May 19!

The guild is hosting its own Fabric Sale at our May meeting in the spirit of new spring projects and spring cleaning. For those who are not familiar with the event, members donate their unwanted yardage and all sales benefit SafeHouse Center.   Roberta Myyra, Nico Laudenberg (pictured left) and Carol Makielski have spent many hours sorting all the new fabric donated within the last few months and they say there is ‘lots and lots of really good fabric.’  These are just a few of the boxes that will make this year’s sale another big success!

Sales are based on the size bag (quart, gallon, or larger) which you can fill with all your “new treasures.”  Please note we can only accept cash or checks – no credit cards. The sale will begin at the end of the Quilt Day meeting (around 11:30 a.m.) and will end about 12:30 p.m.   Our speaker this Saturday is Linda J. Hahn  and the free demos are Kathy Schmidt – Sleeve demo and Jan Roys – Two-color binding.

Bring your quilting friends to our meeting and grab some great bargains while also helping SafeHouse!  Quilt Day Guests pay $10 each or can be sponsored for free by a member.
