Class description: This fun, easy free-form process uses your sewing machine’s built-in decorative stitches to create surface design techniques that can be used in your quilts for years to come.
Karen Linduska will teach you how to alter decorative stitches to create many images and designs, plus how to use your sewing machine more efficiently by showing you features your machine has that you might not be familiar with. Plus—you will learn about which stabilizers to use for different techniques! Karen will work one-on-one with you to show you what your machine can do.
Students must bring a sewing machine that has a large amount of built-in decorative stitches – plus the MANUAL for that machine – Older sewing machines will NOT have the correct amount of stitches.
To get your creative juices flowing and see the full potential of Karen’s technique, visit her gallery.
