From Inspiration to Design – Heather Jones – Sunday, January 20, 2019
Appropriate level: Intermediate to Advanced
Class description: Bring your inspiration to life as you create a one of a kind unique quilt pattern. Work with Heather Jones to create a quilt pattern inspired by something you have seen: an old building, a water tower, the sunset, etc. We’ll use a photograph of your inspiration as a starting point to create a quilt design. Heather will guide you through the process of sketching, designing pattern pieces, calculating yardage and construction methods, creating a color palette and fabric selection. You’ll leave the class with a complete pattern that’s ready to be constructed in your home studio.
Please note there will not be a supply kit provided. The updated workshop supply listing now includes graph paper sketchbook, pencil, and ruler to use in class.
