“Ruler Work for the Sit-down Quilter”

Lecture description: The lecture/trunk show is an introduction to technique of performing ruler work using a home sewing machine or a sit-down mid arm/long arm machine.  This colorful PowerPoint lecture details the necessary equipment for ruler work and reviews a wide myriad of rulers/templates that can be used to create various quilted designs.  There are short videos embedded within the PowerPoint lecture so attendees can actually see how these various styles of rulers are used.  The presentation includes a wide array of colorful photos showing various types of ruler work combined with free motion quilting to create fabulous designs.  The trunk show that follows allows the attendees to see/touch the quilts themselves.

This lecture follows the business meeting on Quilt Day.
