Nov 21, 2020 Quilt Day – Bill Kerr
Doors open at 8:15 am, and the meeting begins at 9:15 am.
Lecture by Bill Kerr
Lecture description: Bindings, thread selection, batting loft, block size-such details can make or break a piece. Learn how designers in a wide variety of disciplines, from product design to landscape architecture to quilting, refine details to make compelling work
This lecture follows the business meeting on Quilt Day.
Due to scheduling considerations, Bill Kerr will be giving the November lecture originally to be presented by Weeks Ringle. For those of you unfamiliar with Bill, he and Weeks are partners and co-founders of the Modern Quilt Studio.
“We make the same number of quilts, teach the exact same classes the same way and he had very successful classes at your guild when we were last there 13 years ago. In addition, Bill is a tenured professor of design and a beloved teacher so I know your members will enjoy his classes.”
