GAAQG $1 book sale Sept. 16, 2017

Sept. 8, 2017
by GAAQG Librarians: Lori Rhode, Mary Seminitis, Pat Timberlake-Turk, Annette Tolley, Cheryl Shaul & Camie Roper

Books, books, books. You can almost never have too many! Join us for the GAAQG $1 Book Sale at about 11:30 a.m. after the Sept. 16, 2017 Quilt Day meeting in the atrium of WCC’s Morris Lawrence Bldg., 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, MI.

Five years ago, the GAAQG librarians realized that it is impractical to allow the collection of quilting books the guild has been amassing to continue to increase. More book donations have come in, and many of our library books that were published before 2000 are unlikely to circulate, or to be appealing to a younger generation of quilters. So, it is time for another book sale!

Our sale books are good reference tools and sources of quilting inspiration. Join us after the GAAQG meeting, about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Each book will cost just $1. We accept cash or check.

Proceeds of the book sale will be used to purchase new quilting books. If you have a quilting book to recommend as an addition to the library, please submit the suggestion when you complete the upcoming GAAQG library survey, or contact us at

Thank you! Hope to see you, soon!
