Quilting for SafeHouse
Shops & Services
Biennial Quilt Show
January 28, 9am – 12pm
Contact Lynne Bryant (email@example.com) for Zoom link.
One appeal about making quilts for SafeHouse Center residents is the chance to use whatever design you want, as long as the finished quilt measures at least 60” x 80.”
I love to make scrappy quilts and it doesn’t take much to get me started, but if you’d like some inspiration there are loads of books and YouTube videos on the subject. Two of my favorites are Just Get It Done Quilts with Karen Brown and Conquering Mount Scrapmore with Brenda which is all about using scraps up.
You can also check out our own member, Mary M. Hogan’s new book Log Cabin Improv available from Amazon.
With all this inspiration, join us for a monthly Zoom SafeHouse Center Sew-in. It is a great way to meet up with fellow members and learn new things.
Zoom information and reminder will be sent by email.
See you at the Sew-In!
Email reminders are sent 30, 15, and 7 days before your membership expiration date.
When you renew before this year’s expiration date, next year’s expiration date advances one day. For example, renewing before 12/28/2022 becomes 12/29/2023.
If you don’t renew by the expiration date, your membership expires along with all GAAQG membership benefits. To reactivate your membership contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you pay by check, your membership won’t be active until your payment clears your bank.
On Saturday, July 16 2022, many of you attended our first in-person Quilt Day since January 2020. Meg Cox gave two inspiring lectures and provided us with a list of favorite resources.
