Give new life to magazine clippings and combine them with fabric to make beautiful and unique fiber art. First you will design your block using paper and hand-dyed fabric. Then you will cut, fuse and hand stitch the pieces in place. This is a great opportunity to learn how to stitch on paper. There will also be a demonstration on how to laminate and foil the magazine clippings. The class is intended for all student levels who would like to explore techniques with different materials beyond fabrics. Students’ further explorations can be done with their own materials.
REGISTRATION closes March 5, 2021 in order for kits to be received before the workshop.
KIT FEE: $35 payable to the instructor through her Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/MargasCraftsStore
