Vendor Information

Show Date, Times and Location

The 2027 GAAQG Quilt Show is Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2027. The show will be held at Liberty School 7265 N. Ann Arbor St. Saline, MI 48176.  The show hours are Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Quilts made by GAAQG members are displayed in the middle of the main floor. Special Exhibit quilts will hang in the hallways and Cafeteria. The Guild also has a Gift Shop offering items donated by members.

Booth Information

Vendor space is limited and available on a “first come first serve basis.” All booths are on the main show floor around the perimeter of the gym. All booths have a back wall which might be wooden or concrete. If you choose to attach something to the back wall, the only allowable method is easily removeable painter’s tape.

Each single booth will come with two chairs and two 6-foot tables. You may request additional chairs and purchase additional tables during the registration process.

You may use other standing display materials and arrange your booth in any way if it is within the marked, measured space. Please note: all tables must be covered to the floor on at least three sides. Each vendor will supply their own table coverings.

Booths must be ready to serve customers by 8:30am on Saturday morning and remain set up through 5:00pm Sunday evening.

Fees

Booth rates have been simplified from past shows. Booth space at our prior location was limited to 8-ft x 10-ft (80 sq ft), the NEW BOOTH SPACE IS 10-FT X 10-FT – a 20% increase in square footage. Booth fees are 20% more than 2024 rates to reflect the 20% increase in square footage which resulted in a lower price per square foot.

All booths are on the Main Floor.

  • 20 booths sized 10-feet x 10-feet = $390 each
  • 3 booths sized 10-feet deep x 13-feet wide = $507 each
  • Only a few booths will have access to electricty
  • Free WiFi is available.

You can purchase a double 10×10 booth to create a larger, adjoining 10-foot deep x 20-foot wide space. The 10-ft x 13-ft spaces are standalone and cannot be expanded.

Set-Up

Set-Up time is from 1:00pm to 5:00pm Friday – no exceptions. You must be completely unloaded and have your display ready on Friday. You can make final adjustments on Saturday morning. The show area will open to vendors at 7:00am on Saturday. The doors open to the public at 9:00am. A few handcarts may be available for borrowing; we strongly suggest you bring your own.

Unloading, Loading and Parking

Friday afternoon set-up: There are multiple access points. You will receive detailed instructions and a map after booth spaces are assigned. This ensures that you will use the door closest to your booth and reduce congestion.

Sunday Load Out: As noted above, there are multiple access points and you will use the exits closest to your assigned booth.

Parking Saturday and Sunday during the Show: Please park furthest from the building to keep the front parking primarily for guests attending the show. There is no charge for parking.

Liability

Neither Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild nor Liberty School of Saline is liable or responsible in the case of fire, theft, breakage, or other damages to person or property whether caused negligently, willfully, or otherwise; and they are released from any loss, injury, or damage to person or property by the exhibitor, their representative(s), agents, or employees. The above names are also not responsible for Acts of God or vandalism.

Security

All external access doors of Liberty School will be locked after Friday set up until Saturday at 7:00am, and then Saturday evening until the Sunday morning award ceremony.

General Show Information

Booth Staff: There is a daily admission charge for attending the show. Vendors and their staff will have to wear their GAAQG-provided name badges when entering the show to avoid paying the admission fee. Up to four people are allowed to be listed as booth staff.

Door Prizes

Throughout the show there will be drawings for door prizes donated by the Guild and the vendors. We ask that each vendor donate an item worth at least $25.

Demonstrations

If you are planning to demonstrate a tool or technique, be sure to let the Vendor Liaison know so we can promote it.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as a virulent COVID variant or some other unknown cataclysm resulting in the cancellation of the show, vendors will be contacted and refunded.

Registration and Payment

Registration is online with payment by credit card. You cannot pay by check or submit a paper form. Booth space is not reserved until the completed form is submitted, and payment is made.

All booths are on the Main Floor. You can purchase a double 10×10 booth to create a larger, adjoining 10-foot deep x 20-foot wide space. The 10-ft x 13-ft spaces are standalone and cannot be expanded.
