The July meeting lecturer is Dr. Marsha MacDowell (Director, Michigan Traditional Arts Program, Residential College in the Arts and Humanities at Michigan State University). Dr. MacDowell is the Curator of the Michigan State University Museum. She will share her research insights about this fascinating topic in the lecture “African, African American, and African Diasporic Quilt History in a Digital Age.”
