On Saturday, November 18, 2022, we have two members who have volunteered to share and/or demo for us. They will share their information both before and after the meeting and Jane Sassaman’s lecture.
Lynne Bryant will be doing a demo on Elmer’s Glue Binding Technique. A pdf of her tips can be found here.
Camie Roper will share The Newest Trend in Quilting: Sustainability Many of us are starting to see the need for sustainable living. Are there eco-friendly ways to manage our stash and support quilting? The voice of sustainability is growing across the industry, and showing up more and more at quilt shows and in quilt lectures. Camie will bring some projects and ideas that might ease us into the concept of sustainability in our craft, while still maintaining the joy and creativity we bring to it. And…she will be giving away door prizes!
Jane Sassaman will present her lecture “Under the Influence” by Zoom.
“Under the Influence” is a lecture of the visual and philosophical ideas that have influenced me and my work. There is an extraordinary range of wonderful images. This is a very colorful lecture. I hope to excite and inspire the audience by exposing them to an unusual combination of fantastic images.
Non-members can purchase a ticket for $10.00
